Sadly it is the end of my four-day weekend. After a busy few days, my wife and I finished it up by raking the leaves in our yard.
There were a lot of leaves out there! We have a lot of trees. But we've got the first bunch of them up, and now we have to wait for more of them to fall before we can finish up for the year. Hopefully, most of the leaves that are going to fall have already fallen. Raking is hard work!
We made a few piles in the yard on both sides of our house, as well as by the garage:
My wife helped out too. She enjoyed doing some work outside.
When we were all done, we had several bags of leaves ready for "Monticello leaf pickup day" next week.
Kenny was outside with us while we were raking leaves. He had a good time out there. He was so tired that he started nodding-off when we were at the grocery store. It is funny to watch him bob his head until he eventually falls asleep.
He was sleeping REALLY soundly once we got him into the car.
*****Finally, like I said earlier: Today was the last day of a four day weekend. With that in mind, I was able to "give my skin a break." I hadn't shaved since last Tuesday. My face was the fuzziest that it had been in a while. I shaved a few hours ago, and I am now back to being clean-shaven. It feels good, because when my facial hair gets too long, it really starts to itch!
That's all! Have a nice day dear readers!
