At the end of last night's Results' Show, Ryan announced that next week's theme will be "The Songs of Queen". Wow! What a great theme! There are so many good/ fun/ entertaining songs to choose from.

That said: there are a few Queen songs that are simply dangerous to sing. Here are some of my thoughts on song choice for next week's theme show.

Good Queen songs to pick:

Crazy Little Thing
Killer Queen
Breakthrough
Love of my Life
Don't Stop Me Now
Tie Your Mother Down (maybe too ambitious. If I were a contestant, I would insist on ringing a gong at the beginning.)

Queen songs to stay away from:

Stone Cold Crazy
Bohemian Rhapsody
Bicycle Race
We are the Champions
Flash
Under Pressure
I Want to Break Free (especially not Ace!)

I doubt that anyone would bother with Bohemian Rhapsody. (Actually someone probably will, but shouldn't!) Queen didn't usually even bother with that song in concert. (Constantine didn't do such a good job with that song last year, regardless of what the judges said. . .)

I'd LOVE it if someone tried to sing "Mustafa"!!

I would LOVE for someone to have the stones to comeout and start with:

Are you gonna take me home tonight?
Ah, down beside that red firelight;
Are you gonna let it all hang out?

I think that the best would be if someone tried to do the theme from the Flash Gordon movie . . . now THAT is classic Queen. I do think it would be cute to see Kellie sing "Another One Bites the Dust", though . . . that girl is gorgeous . . . sign me up!
