In an unusual move: the top-two, middle-two, and bottom-two vote-getters were announced as such. Chris and Katharine came in as the top-two. Elliot and Taylor in the middle, and Paris and Kellie were in the bottom two. In the end, we saw the elimination of Kellie Pickler.

The top-two (Chris and Katharine): Is there any doubt that these two will be there in the finals? I like Katharine, and I am bored with Chris. I do however think that it is nearly impossible for Chris to lose.

The middle-two (Elliot and Taylor):

I like these two guys. Elliot still has to rehabilitate himself from admitting admitting a few weeks back that he doesn't know any Queen songs.

The bottom-two (Paris and Kellie): Paris' song was forgettable, as I didn't remember it from the time she sang it until the final recap. She sang it well, but she was missing something.

Kellie was eliminated. I'll miss her. She was fun to have on the program. It certainly did seem like she had been "phoning it in" for the past month or so. I wonder why?
