Ozzy Osbourne's "No More Tears."

Hi there.

I am a teacher, but since I work at three different schools, driving between job sites is part of my daily routine. As I was driving between schools today, I heard the song "No More Tears" on the radio. That song is really cool, and it has a pretty nifty guitar hook.

"No More Tears" is a song that I enjoy to turn up loud and sing-along.

Singing along with the song today, I thought: "This song's lyrics are nonsense." It was like Ozzy took a bunch of miscellaneous lyrics, plugged them into a computer, and made the song with a "random song generator."

I'd bet that there are a number of songs out there that make little (or no) sense at all. "No More Tears" is one of them.

Ozzy Osborne is a burned out idiot, I seen this fool on TV one night and I actually watched about 10 minutes of the show, not because it had any value or was interesting, I was just amazed at how this idiot and his idiot wife and idiot kids could be on TV and people actually watch them. Now all I can figure is that the people who watch him on TV must have some real boring and dull lives, Ozzy Osborne......shove it where the sun dont shine

I think that of most Rap songs a just a collection of words, along with anything my son listerns to (with the exception of his favorite christmas gift which was a collections of Frank Sinatra.) How a person can love Frank also listern to @#%* is beyond me. I am just thankful that when I say how bout putting on something diffrent, or turn that down or off, he has yet to give me additude.

I am sure we could come up with some country music that would fit also. I think most country music tells a story, I am just not sure why we want to hear about it.

Captain seems to have a bit of anger issues....

Actually if you listen to many of the most popular songs they really don't make a lot of sense. They just have a good melody and they have to sing something so any words that fit work. Ozzy despite appearing disoriented on his show which I do not watch, just seen clips, has written some wonderfully melodic songs. He may not have a way with words, but he does with melody I think, at least once in awhile.

Hmm, while I really like this song I haven't had the chance to listen to it in a while. However, I really, really have to disagree with the comment about the lyrics not making any sense. They are actually quite chilling in classic, creepy Ozzy style. Please read them before you just discard them.

I think that most songs are just a bunch of stuff stuck together. The one that it means something to is the song writer.

IIRC correctly, no more tears is about drug abuse.
