Hello there friends.  I hope that you are having a nice weekend.  My wife, my son, and I had a happy day today.

We left our house in the late-morning to meet some friends at the "Festival of Nations" in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

At the festival, we were able to eat all sorts of yummy foods from many different countries.  The best thing that I ate was some tandoori chicken (Indian), Kazuko really enjoued some noodles (Chap-Jae) from Korea.  We were also able to browse among a number of international shops and exhibits.

Kazuko enjoyed getting a henna tattoo at the festival too:

After the festival, the three of us headed for Minneapolis to see the Twins play against the Angels.  That was my first game this year.  Unfortunately the Twins lost 1-0, but it was a fast well-pitched game.  We enjoyed ourselves.

Kenny was all dressed-up and ready to see a game:

This year, the Metrodome received new artificial turf.  It looks really nice, and apparently the surface plays more realistically than the old one.  I look forward to having the chance to walk around on the new stuff to see how it feels.

Well, that was our day.  We had a nice time.  Now it is time for bed.  We can get ready for tomorrow.
