American Idol 6: Results Mar 1, 2007

WATCH OUT FOR SPOILERS!

Tonight's show was another of the always-anticipated elimination shows. Three out of my four picks for elimination were sent home. Last week I got half right, this week I did one better than half.

Notable events from tonight's show:

The group sang "Joy to the World". They have to fill TV time somehow. . .
Nick Pedro was eliminated. Too bad. He was one of my early picks. I think that revealing that he was engaged (or had a girlfriend) cost him a few of the ever-important young lady/teen votes.
Alaina Alexander was the first woman sent away. I liked her emotional display during her final song. I could "feel her pain." It played-out well.
Kellie Pickler sang a song. Her dress wasn't very flattering. I zipped through this one.
AJ Tabaldo was eliminated. Sanjaya has his fans, and I feel that he and AJ are competing for the same ones. Poor AJ. Like I said, he was more forgetable than others.
Leslie Hunt was eliminated. Poor her. She looked shattered.

That's all I have for this week. Next week will be the last of the three-per-week shows. That'll save my sanity a bit.

I don't feel AJ should have gotten eliminated...I know he isn't as memorable as the others, but I still felt he was very talented vocally.

Did Kelly Pickler's boobs look fake to you?

It seemed to me like that's what Ryan was alluding to when he asked what she'd spent her money on...after she said shoes, he looked right at her chest and it was awkward for a brief second before they showed her shoes.

I was thinking that Kelly looked a bit more full-figured than before. I thought that she had just gained weight.

Of course a breast augmentation has become a big part of the celebrity "to do" list now. Probably makes some singers more marketable. (Or to at least feel more marketable.)

Next on her "to do" list would be to find a more flattering dress than she wore last night.

I just think she looks too old now doesn' t she? Almost reminded me of a younger Dolly Parton and I do like Dolly! It's just she just is made up to look like her back in the day!

AJ has a great voice but too bad he was voted off!

I liked Leslie! I love her raspy voice Antonella should have been the one to go!

Donna, Rose said the same thing. I think Kellie is younger than Carrie Underwood. If so she better start looking her age.

I think all of them deserved to go. Now I hope they get rid of the rest of the poor performers. Like Sanjaya and Antonella. I'm sure they're nice people but their performances are boring. I don't think Antonella should have even made the top 12.
