Hello there!

I just got home from taking my father-in-law to the airport. It was so nice that he was able to come to see the baby. I was sad to see him go. He is a really interesting guy. I suppose that we'll meet again when we go to Japan next summer.

Driving to and from the airport was really slow and dangerous today. Going there wasn't so bad actually, but the traffic got really bad on the return trip. About five miles from my house the roads got really slippery and icy. The high winds caused the cars on the road to slide around.

Eastbound traffic about five miles from my house was really bad. I saw four accidents in five miles. There were also a lot of police cars, tow trucks, and ambulances driving to various accidents. (Fortunately I had been travelling west.)

I am glad that I am at home now. I will stay inside and watch sumo and football with Kentaro. Maybe I will shovel snow later this afternoon.

Okay my friends! It is lunchtime. My mother-in-law made meat and potato stew. Yummy Yum!

I keep expecting a snow storm but we have 67 degree weather right now...weird! This is MI. It is supposed to be cold. I'm not complaining though. I still need to get a snowblower. I just hope we have a white Chirstmas.
