Hey there friends.  I am about to turn in on a rainy Sunday night.

There hadn't been much media coverage of it, but tonight's episode of "The Practice" was the last of the series.  I watched it, as it is/was one of my favorite shows.

In fact, the only episodes of "The Practice" that I had missed in the entire series were the ones last season that ABC "hid" on Monday nights.  That was a dumb move, wasn't it?

The happy endings were: Eugene became a judge, Elanor went into retirement, Jimmy and Jamie went in on a neighborhood law firm, and Alan got a spin-off.  (Which -by the way- I am really looking forward to.  I get a kick out of Denny Crane.)

Dylan McDermott came back for the last couple of episodes as Bobby Donnell.  Watching the show, my wife and I noticed that Bobby "came back creepy."  Did anyone else catch that?  Its like he went to "Bad acting school" or something.

I think that he was trying to emote sentimentality, but it ended up giving me the heebie-jeebies.

I didn't get "creepy" out of the performance. But I didn't really catch the sense that it was "Bobby". Ya know?
It was a very good show. David E Kelly is always creative. But I've noticed that once he gets his hands on more than 3 projects at a time, one thing or other starts to slip in quality. Like he's over extended himself or something.

Heres to looking forward to the new series. It should be entertaining.

Hey Jamie,

I use to watch "The Practice" when I was in Hong Kong and loved it. I didn't really watch it much after that when I came back to the states. I was wondering, what happen to "Bobby's" wife in that show? I know they both left the show right? Just wondering. Keep up the logs on ur page. It's interesting and you catch things that ppl don't notice.
