A bit about the 007 movies too.

Hi all!

Kazuko, Kenny, and I, my mother-in-law, and my parents just got home from grandma and grandpa's house for Thanksgiving dinner. We all came home very full! My plate was full of yummy food.

We had: turkey, squash, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, wild rice, pickles, pumpkin pie, and pecan pie. It was all very yummy.

The pickles that we ate at the dinner were very good. My grandmother had pickled them herself. I think that I will go to the supermarket to buy some jars, cucumbers, the necessary spices, and some vinegar to try pickling. It seems like something that I would be interested in.

Pickling things seems like something that will excite me as much as growing tomatoes had been a few summers ago. When Kazuko and I had first met, we started a windowsill garden on the balcony of my apartment in Nishio. I was so excited to see how quickly my tomato plants grew. It was especially gratifying to eat the fresh tomatoes. I was so happy to come home from work each day to check on the growth of my tomatoes.

Of course I can't plant tomatoes here until spring. In the meantime I may try to occupy myself with pickling!

After we came home from grandma's house, I took a few photographs of Kenny. Here are some of his pictures at fifteen-days. Isn't he so cute! He is a fantastic little guy!

On a different note: Spike TV is playing a 007 marathon for the holiday. That is cool! I try to watch at least a few of the movies in the series each year. I really enjoy seeing how the technology, fashions, and styles of the movies change from decade to decade.

(The bad thing about the movies being on Spike TV is all the commercials! I think that TBS had the courtesy to at least play 20-minute uninterrupted slices of the movies. Spike TV seems to air one minute of commercials for every ninety seconds of movie. It gets frustrating! I wonder how long Spike TV's contract for the movies is... I hope not long!)

I think that my favorite James Bond movie may be Tomorrow Never Dies.
Other favorites include: The Living Daylights, and On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
It is hard for me to choose my favorites because I really enjoy each of the movies. Does anyone reading this have a favorite 007 movie? Let me know.

I don't really watch 007 movies, but I like Austin Powers, isn't that sort of like a compilation of all of them:)? But I was wondering, does Kentaro have an innie or an outie? Thats all. HAppy Thanksgiving!
