Hey there friends!
I hope that all of you are have had a happy weekend. It is Sunday night, and I will have to go to work tomorrow. Monday is the first day of the last four days of work this school year. My half-day summer school class ends on Thursday. Yay!
I am looking forward to having a happy and restful summer.

As my regular readers know, I have been working on a garden this year. Yesterday I harvested the first "fruits" of my labor. It is an asian herb called perilla (shiso in Japanese.)
Here are a couple of pictures of the plants and the edible leaves which I picked yesterday.
I am also pleased with the tomatoes and corn that I am growing. The tomato plants are flowering a lot, and the fruits are starting to pop out all over the place. The corn is also starting to form! I can hardly wait to eat some of them!
And as usual, I took a bunch of good baby pictures over the weekend as well. He's beginning to practice holding himself upright while standing. His little feet look like they're glued on his tree-trunk legs.
That's it for today.
...Well actually I may write again this evening about an online sumo game that I just entered, as well as a baby bunny that I photographed in my yard. Maybe it would be more appropriate if I were to say: "That's all for this entry."
