Last night I went to sing karaoke with my mother in-law and father in-law.

That was fun. I always like singing karaoke. I hope that I will be able to do it a few more times while I am in Japan this time.

I hear karoke is all the rage in Japan.... Looks like a lot of fun.

In Japan do they sing japanese and american songs for karoke?

Most people that I go with sing mainly Japanese songs. The pop music industry in Japan makes their songs with karaoke singability in mind.

I usually stick to English songs (I especially like to sing Barry Manilow songs.) I do however have three Japanese songs in my repertiore. (Sorry for my possible misspelling Francophones.) My favorite song to sing in Japanese is Morning Musume's: "Love Love suru no da."
