Hi there. Happy Thursday!

Tomorrow is finally Friday. Yay! Before I know it, I will be enjoying Christmas vacation. I hope that it doesn't come too fast though. I still haven't started Christmas shopping yet.

Like my headline says: it was a pretty ordinary day today. I went to work, came home, had leftovers for dinner, watched Smackdown! and ER, and basically enjoyed the evening with Kazuko, Kenny, and Kazuko's mom.

Among the nicer things that happened today were that we got a nice card from Claire in England, and a present from Azumi in Australia. Thanks to you both!

The biggest news in these parts may be the weather. It has gotten awfully cold over the past few days. The temperature now is around 0 degrees Fahrenheit. (I think that that may be around -15C, maybe colder...) It is awfully cold! The bad thing about this is that the cold water in my kitchen isn't working right now. We'll have to thaw out the pipes before we have full use of the kitchen sink.

Fortunately we still have water in our bathroom and washing machine, as well as hot water in the kitchen. So it isn't a total disaster. Making sure that this doesn't happen so often will be one of the home improvement projects that we'll eventually have to undertake. Until then, we'll just have to live the adventure.

That's about all for today. We're all doing fine. Kenny has been eating, eating, and eating some more. He is growing really fast! Kazuko seems to be doing well, albeit tired. Kazuko's mom looks like she is enjoying herself too while helping us out. We really appreciate that. I will miss her when she goes back to Japan this weekend.
