Hello there.

I am at home now.  My legs are a bit sore and my body is a bit tired, but I am in good spirits.  Today my parents came with my wife, my son, and I to the Minnesota State Fair.

We ate all sorts of yummy fair food, and we saw all of the fair sites.  It was a happy day.

As I am a bit tired from my day, I will let the following three pictures do a bit of my communication for me:

Kenny had a happy time.  He likes looking at crowds of people.  Babies tend to like that kind of stuff:

We had the chance to see farm animals today too.  (I look awfully excited here.  Kenny and Kazuko seem much less enthusiastic.)

Usually fair time is oppressively hot!  This year has been a treat.  Today's trip to the fair was actually a bit chilly.  Kenny bundled up a little on the walk back to our car:

Our friends Nancy and Rob (from Saint Paul) are expecting a baby any day now.  (She is due on Monday.)  Let's all wish them the best of luck!

Hi!
Were your baby O.K. when seeing such big farm animals? Weren't he scared? He looks stiff...

Hi Jamie! I had to check your blog to see how the fair trip went. It was so nice to see you guys yesterday. Kenny really has grown taller - I'm afraid he's losing his sumo look. He's a handsome boy. I'm glad you had a good time at the fair and I hope the walk from the car wasn't too long!

Thanks for the well-wishes! I can't wait to wear my new shirt for skinny Nancy.
