This is old news, but the day before yesterday (Monday Aug. 30) the Cleveland Indians beat the New York Yankees 22-0.  That was good news because I like to see the Yankees lose big.

I wonder if the Red Sox have it in them to overtake the Yankees this season.  Regardless, it looks like even if the Yankees don't win the division, they'd be the wild-card entrants into the playoffs.  Let's hope that (along with the Red Sox) a team in the AL West gets hot.

Go Red Sox!  Go Athletics!  Go Angels!  Go Rangers!

And of course: Go Twins!  (My favorite team.  The bad news is that they are uniquely suited to win the AL Central, but have little hope in the playoffs.)

I'm an Indians fan and got to watch the entire game on satellite! Go Indians! Don't know if they have it in them to overtake the Twins this year, but watch out next year!

What do ya wanna bet that George "800 lb gorilla" Steinbrenner threw the mother of all hissy fits after that? I'm suprised Torre still has a job. ( i hate the yanks, but i like Joe...Class act!) I kept thinking of Billy Martin after i watched the game.

GO SOX!
