Today has been a busy Sunday.  I intended to watch the Vikings game from three o'clock; but before that started, I had to get some yardwork done.

The first thing that I did was cut the grass.  It had been two weeks since I had last done it, and it was beginning to get a little long.  I like to cut the grass on Sundays because I enjoy listening to the sports radio programs on WCCO radio (especially during the Twins' season!)

The second thing was removing some bushes that we had on both sides of our front door.  Ever since we have been living in this house, my wife has wanted me to get rid of the bushes in front of our house so that she could plant some flowers (and other plants) in there.  Today I finally got around to it.

Now that I am done, I'd have to say that I am pretty pleased with the results.  The entrance to my house looks a lot nicer and bigger without those bushes in there.  Once we get some nice landscaping and flowers in there, I am sure that it'll look even nicer.
