I just found out that there had been a Brady Bunch Marathon on TVLand this weedend.  I have only been able to catch the tail end of it.  I really like those "Pop-up video" episodes.  (I wasn't in the US when the pop-up thing ran its course, so I would like to see more and more shows done in the "pop-up" style!)

For as long as I remember, I have been watching "The Brady Bunch" in syndication.  Even though I was born before the series had been cancelled, I didn't catch the shows until they were in re-runs.  (I was only two when the show was cancelled.)

I really like that show for some reason.  It is just stupid escapism.  When I was in high school and college, I made a point of it to watch at least one episode per day.  I remember that during summer vacation I was able to catch up to five episodes per day.  (That was a good way to recover after the long nights as a line-cook.  -Also, teenagers like to sleep-in.  "The Bunch" was good motivation to get me out of bed.)

What is your favorite "Brady" episode?  Who is your favorite character?

My favorite episode was the one where the family went to King's Island Amusement Park in Cincinnati.  My favorite character is Jan.  (On sort-of a related point: I thought that Eve's Plum was a good rock band.  I am surprised that they never made it bigger.)
