Ever since my wife and I moved back to Minnesota in 2001, we have made a point of it to make an annual visit to Sever's Corn Maze in Shakopee, MN.  We always enjoy our time there.

Besides autumn-themed food, people can enjoy: a petting zoo, a pumpkin launcher, piglet races, and a trip through a big maze in a corn field.  It is really a lot of fun!

A new attraction this year was giant "sandboxes" filled with dry feed-corn.  (I hopped in and sank up to my knees.)  I really enjoyed playing around in the corn with Kazuko and Kenny!  (I still felt like I was wading around in the corn after I had gotten out.)

Did I take any pictures?  Of course I did!  Here they are:

We wanted to introduce Kenny to some of the animals in the petting zoo.  They had: a yak, a donkey, ponies, porcupines, those mini-deer, regular deer, camels, and red kangaroos.  (They used to have big kangaroos.  I wonder what happened to them... I liked to play with them.)

Then we played in the corn with Kenny for a while:

Kenny got to eat some corn.  (He just liked to gnaw on the end though...)

I LOVE this picture.  Kenny had an awesome time at the festival today.  He was sleeping within two minutes of getting back into the car.

That boy is growing so big! Thanks for sharing the pictures. We went pumpkin and gourd hunting today. Had a great time bounding through fields of pumpkins...good stuff!

Kenny's hari is getting so much lighter! It looks like you had fun.... I see you got Kenny in some shoes, he must have hated that!

I have two favorite pictures of Kenny - The one where he is sitting in the corn "sand box" and the other one where he is standing. Was he apprehensive about the animals? Did either of you get clogged? What wonderfull pictures! I love pictures on the blog!!!

I can't believe he is so big. He is wearing the outfit I got him and I know how big that seemed a year ago! He is so cute. I use his pictures as my screen saver. I love looking at his smiling face all day.
