Hello there! It is Sunday. I hope that you're having a good one.

Kazuko, Kentaro, and I are here at home enjoying our Sunday. I am listening to the radio and playing with the computer. Kazuko is feeding Kentaro while watching Animal Planet on TV. There is a cute show about baby bats on right now. (I really like bats. Bats, hedgehogs, and monkeys are my favorite animals.)

My sad news is that tomorrow I have to go to work. There are district-wide meetings on Monday and Tuesday. Rats! Those two days would have been good days for me to finish up my Christmas shopping. Now I will have to go out at night to finish up. I hope that we're able to make some big accomplishments tomorrow and the next day at the meetings without staying later than we have to. (unlikely!)

Recently I have been writing in this weblog about how I need to get my Christmas shopping started. I was finally able to get some things bought yesterday! What a relief. I only have 2-3 more people to finish up. This Christmas creeped up on me really quickly! Too much going on around my house.

Maybe you don't know about this, but I have been reading the Harry Potter series. I am currently working on the fifth book: "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." I have been really impressed with all of the books in the series. The author gives readers a surprise on every page, and there haven't been any surprises that have been so outrageous that the reader gets angry. Each of the books have been a real pleasure to read. Thusfar, I would say that "The Prisoner of Azkaban" was my favorite book of the series.

Okay my friends, I will leave you with those thoughts and a few new pictures of our cute little six-week old baby. Have a happy weekend!

Here is a picture of Kenny sitting on the couch. He is looking around the room.

Last night, my sister Dena was finally able to meet Kenny. (She has been away studying in Hawaii.) Here is their first picture together.

Here is what Kenny looks like when he's sleeping. He likes to sleep. If I could, I would sleep this much too!
