Hey there.  I hope that all of you are having a happy Monday.

This will probably be a good week for me because after Wednesday I will be enjoying a four-day weekend.  (Thanks to the Minnesota Education Association convention.)  My family's biggest plan over the holiday is to take our baby swimming.  I also will try to "take down" my garden.

Like my headline announces: some friends and I spent yesterday playing paintball with a group in Hinckley, Minnesota.  It was a nice cool day.  We had a good time without getting overheated.  I also enjoyed the opportunity to be outside in the changing fall colors.

Of course I took a few pictures with my phone.

Here are John and Andy.  "Ready for action!"  -Unfortunately for John (due to mechanical malfunction) he wasn't necessarily R.F.A. for most of the day, but he at least looked the part!

My friend Andy is a good player.  I have my best games following him around and copying what he does.  Whenever I am by myself, I just end up getting shot immediately.  Lucky I know someone with aptitude!

We weren't playing on a proper course, so the brush was awfully thick.  It was pretty tiring wading through that stuff.  (My life would be rough if I were a deer!)  I ended up having to pull a couple of small slivers out of my hand this morning.  Apparently some little thorns made it through my gloves.
