Two disparate topics, linked by nothing in particular.

Usually at our house, my wife cooks dinner.  She always does a good job, and her food is enjoyed by all.

Every once-in-a-while I cook dinner too.  This evening I tried my hand at cooking grilled tandoori chicken.  I was really happy with how it turned out!  It was one of the best things that I have cooked in a long time.  The next time that I want to cook something "special" I may do that again!

Here are the skewers on the grill.  It is interesting how the coals look green on camera.  My lens must be red-green colorblind.

And here is the finished product.  Tandoori chicken served with green peas and rice.

Baby Kenny has been practicing walking for about three months now.  About two days ago he finally figured out!  It was pretty amazing to see how quickly he went from being a non-walker to a walker.

Here he is walking around the living room.  He seems pretty happy with what he can do.

That's it for today!  I am off to watch "Desperate Housewives," which has become my (and my wife's) favorite show.

You should invite me, Nancy, and Isadora to your house sometime soon, so we can eat your Tandoori chicken! I love Tandoori anything!

I can hardly wait until the 13th to see Kenny!!!!! He looks so very happy walking. Everyone on second floor have seen the pictures. Have looked at all the car seats in the city of Duluth. Will buy on Wednesday. We have a toss up between two different seats. We are going to weigh the pro's and con's of each! It wouldn't be a complicated one.

Enjoy your first day back to work after a long weekend. The kids will probably be excited. You look "scarey" in your picture! Glad you shaved!

So what type of seasoning do you use to make it Tandoori?

what type of seasoning

Beats me.  I bought a packet of spices from United Noodle grocery store in Minneapolis.  All I needed was the prepackaged spices, yogurt, and butter.  It ended up tasting just like the tandoori that I have had at Indian restaurants.
