Hello there. I hope that you're having a happy Sunday.

I just finished watching a couple of hours of "I Love the '80s Strikes Back" on VH1. I usually enjoy watching that series, along with the "I Love the '70s" shows.

One thing does bug me however. There is this guy on the show named Michael Ian Black. Apparently this guy stars on some show named "Ed." Now I haven't ever seen "Ed," and I have never heard of this guy outside of the "I love the..." series.

The irritating thing about this guy is that he has to give a comment on every single segment of the show. (What? Is he the producer or something?) I don't necessarily dislike this Michael Ian Black fellow, but watching the show I often find myself thinking: "Who the f*ck is this guy, and why do I care about what he thinks about the Rubik's Cube?"

I don't know, maybe I'd change my tune if I were to watch "Ed." Maybe I could appreciate this guy in a different context.

You know, come to think of it: this reminds me of that documentary "When they were Kings." That was a documentary about Mohammed Ali fighting George Frasier (or was it Foreman?) in Africa. There were all sorts of commentary by a bunch of men and women who were actually INVOLVED with the event. In the commentary, movie director Spike Lee gives very prominent commentary. Maybe I'm wrong, but was Spike Lee actually involved with any of that? Assuming he wasn't, why did he feel that he was entitled to add his comments?
