Hey there friends! I hope that New Year's preparations are going well.

I don't necessarily have anything special planned. I know that Kazuko and I will watch the "Ko-Haku" (Red and White Song Contest. (The Red and White Song Contest is a yearly showcase of popular music in Japan. It is played each New Year's Eve.) I am also looking forward to watching the "World Idol" results show. I hope that Kurt from Norway does well...

Today was a good day. My wife and I drove to the bank. After the bank, we did some shopping. We bought some food and drinks for some friends that we'll be entertaining soon. We also bought some new neon tetras for our aquariums, as well as some treats for our other pets.

Besides shopping, we had lunch at a Korean restaurant in Eagan. Kazuko really likes Korean food. (I do too.) Today's lunch was pretty interesting. I inadvertantly ordered a whole dish of spicy beef intestines. I can happily eat a little bit of those, but a whole intestine meal can turn out to be a little much. Live and learn... Next time I'll stick to ordering the stuff that I'm familiar with.

Coming home, we did a whole photo-shoot with Kentaro. Here are the results:

Here is Kenny modeling his new sailor suit. He seems quite happy.

This is our little friend after getting home this afternoon. The tear in his eye signifies that he's hungry.

Here's me and little Kentaro by the computer.

Mommy loves the baby.

Baby is smiling at his mommy.

Thanks for reading and Happy New Year 2004!
