Happy Monday morning to all of you! I hope that you're having a good start to your work-week.

The biggest sports news (here in Minnesota) as far as I am concerned is: the Twins signed Shannon Stewart to a three-year contract. He really helps the team. It will be a good thing if the Twins and Eddie Guardado can agree to salary arbitration.

Now that they have that taken care of, I am convinced that the team will be at least better-than-terrible next year. Now they have to be able to find someone who can hit home-runs. I would also be happy if they would be able to find a veteran starting pitcher (like Kenny Rogers.) They way that they're lined up now, they may have two rookie starting pitchers in their rotation. That can't be a good thing.
