As I had written in my last blog entry, I watched the film: "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" on IFC. Tonight, BBC America is showing "The Meaning of Life." -Even though I have seen that movie about fifty times (maybe more,) I still am watching it on TV.

(By the way, read my last entry if you're interested in comparing Tarantino's gangster movies to Guy Ritchie's gangster movies.)

Having movies on is good. There isn't much else on, is there? Actually, it has been so long since there has been a new ER on television, I nearly forgot to watch it last night. I am "hanging in there" until the new American Idol starts on the 18th or 19th of January. I sure hope that there's someone that I like as much as I liked Clay last year.

Changing the subject:

Today before work, the teachers at my school threw my family a baby shower. I was so happy that they went out of their way to do that for me. We had a nice time, and we got some really nice presents. It seems that elementary school teachers really have a sense of what to get new parents for a baby shower.

Kenny seemed to be in heaven too. He liked all of the attention from the ladies. He smiled during the whole party. He even giggled a bit too. He really seemed to like Isabel, the ESL assistant who works with me.

I had intended to put some new baby pictures on this weblog over the weekend, but unfortunately I forgot my video camera's batteries in my office. I had been recording my students performing a play, and the batteries ran down. I plugged them in to be charged, then left for the day without them. I hope that I will be able to add some new baby pictures next week.

That's all for today. Thanks for reading.

Hi Jamie, I only have basic cable since I don't ever watch that much TV. I do enjoy looking at A&E whenever I do watch or fox news channel.
Too bad about your batteries being low. You have posted some nice photos of your new son.
I have been thinking about getting a digital camera. I would like to have a video camera but I also need one that I can just take a photo of something and then download it onto the PC, since I do sell on ebay now and then. Do they have a video camera that does both? I heard that they do. I was just wondering about how complex they might be to operate though. What kind of camera do you have? It seems to take very high quality photos. Have you had any problems with yours and have you been happy with it? I had read something from I think it was Jilluser. She was telling about her camera that she just bought. Some of the things she had touched on, were going over my head though since I don't know a whole lot about the new cameras. Technology got to moving way too fast for me to keep up with there for awhile. Soon as I would learn one thing, they come out with something all togather different and there ya are again back in square one. I thought well after technology settles down some, I'll have a look and see where we have ended up. Only problem being, it hasn't slowed down. If anything, its moving faster and now all I am is a lot older and behind the times. Lots of laughs. Oh well, life in the big city huh? GCJ
