As I had written in my last blog entry, I watched the film: "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" on IFC. Tonight, BBC America is showing "The Meaning of Life." -Even though I have seen that movie about fifty times (maybe more,) I still am watching it on TV.
(By the way, read my last entry if you're interested in comparing Tarantino's gangster movies to Guy Ritchie's gangster movies.)
Having movies on is good. There isn't much else on, is there? Actually, it has been so long since there has been a new ER on television, I nearly forgot to watch it last night. I am "hanging in there" until the new American Idol starts on the 18th or 19th of January. I sure hope that there's someone that I like as much as I liked Clay last year.
Changing the subject:
Today before work, the teachers at my school threw my family a baby shower. I was so happy that they went out of their way to do that for me. We had a nice time, and we got some really nice presents. It seems that elementary school teachers really have a sense of what to get new parents for a baby shower.
Kenny seemed to be in heaven too. He liked all of the attention from the ladies. He smiled during the whole party. He even giggled a bit too. He really seemed to like Isabel, the ESL assistant who works with me.
I had intended to put some new baby pictures on this weblog over the weekend, but unfortunately I forgot my video camera's batteries in my office. I had been recording my students performing a play, and the batteries ran down. I plugged them in to be charged, then left for the day without them. I hope that I will be able to add some new baby pictures next week.
That's all for today. Thanks for reading.
