Hey there friends. I hope that you've had a nice weekend. I really enjoyed spending time with my wife and my son. As usual it went too fast, and it is back to work tomorrow.

This weekend saw the beginning of the New Year's Grand Sumo Tournament in Tokyo. Kazuko videotaped it last night, and I watched it tonight after dinner. The big question this time will be whether Tochiazuma can get the tournament victory with at least thirteen wins. If he does, he will become a grand champion. It will be interesting if he does become grand champion, Asashoryu and Tochiazuma will be an awfully small pair of champions. That's okay, I like the smaller wrestlers anyway.

So of course tomorrow, I will have more commenrtary about the day's sumo, as well as finally get some new pictures up here on the weblog. That is, if I can remember to get my camera battery from my work! If all goes well, I hope to have some interesting commentary from my own life too. Who knows what each day will bring?
