Hello there.

I hope that everybody is having a happy day. I am doing fine. I am a little sleepy. Kenny likes to wake up at around 10:30 at night. I really like to have time with him when he is awake, so I need to stay up later than usual so that I can enjoy some time with the baby when he is awake. He is so cute when his eyes are open and he is alert! (Of course he is awfully cute when he is sleeping too. He is a good cuddler.)

I am hoping to get my computer back from the repair shop either today or tomorrow, so it won't be long before I am able to post some up-to-date photos of that little rascal. Whenever my computer breaks I realize how accustomed I am to having that source of information and entertainment nearby. When it is gone, I really feel like something is missing!

Today after work I am planning to take my father in-law to play indoor golf. We will bring some golf clubs to a place called "Bunkers." At Bunkers they have cubicles with a huge video screen. You hit golf balls off of a tee into the screen. A computer simulates the flight of the ball. I think that it is as realistic as it can possibly be. I will let all of you know how I do in tomorrow's weblog.

The weather here is supposed to get really warm (for November) today and tomorrow. The weather man said that we may be having record-high temperatures. That will be interesting. Of course, those same forecasts also said that we will have snow to shovel on Saturday. I bought a new shovel about two weeks ago, so I may have a chance to try that thing out.

That's all for now. Thanks for reading! I always appreciate the replies that I get.

Bye for now.

What does Bunkers do to simulate the windy and rainy conditions us real golfers experience?

The path of the ball on the video screen is altered according to wind or rain variables. You can choose to play with or without wind and rain. You can also choose how hard the wind is blowing.

Of course I would prefer to play outside. But golf courses are closed in November in Minnesota.
