So my wife and I were out with our son shopping today. We had a nice time.
After lunch, my wife reported that she had a canker sore that has been KILLING her. It was hard for her to eat and everything. Poor Kaco... (Canker sores are awful, aren't they?)
Along the way, we decided to stop by a convenience store to pick up some chewing tobacco. I figured that constricting the vessels around the sore (caused by the tobacco) would pinch the hole shut, and alleviate a lot of the pain. (Just like the Indians and bullet-wounds in the old movies.)
So once we got out of the store, we both "loaded up" with a little bit of chewing tobacco. (I had to show her how to chew it, plus I wanted to try it myself for fun.) Mine stayed in my mouth from our parking space to the first red light about 25 yards away. My wife was able to keep it in for the ten minutes that it took to get from the convenience store to the Chinese bakery we were headed to. (She reported that the tobacco helped. Her canker sore hurt less.) ...Maybe I'll try it the next time I get a canker sore. (If I can keep it in my mouth for more than three minutes!)
One of our stops today was at Kim's Oriental Grocery in Saint Paul. Kenny had a happy time there.
