Well, Halloween is coming soon.

Last weekend, Kazuko and I went to our friends' house (Larry and Kelly Poppler) for a Halloween party. Kazuko dressed up as an Asian lady beetle, and I dressed up as Ozzy Osbourne. I will have some photos up on my website as soon as they're ready. My wife and I aren't very prolific photo takers, so who knows how long it'll take to finally get them developed.

That roll should also have some shots of my family, Maxim and Inna (from Ekaterinburg) singing karaoke. There will also be some pictures of how big Kazuko's tummy is getting with the baby inside.

Like I said in the headline: Halloween is coming soon. This will be the first year in our new house. We are faced with the problem: How much candy should we buy? I guess I will have to ask the neighbors how many kids tend to stop by for Halloween. I don't want to buy too little candy (if a lot of kids show up,) or too much candy (if few kids come to our house.) It is kind of a predicament, isn't it?

Just in case, we'll have to make sure that we buy peanut butter cups and Kit-Kats (mine and Kazuko's favorite candies.) That way if we have extras, we can enjoy the candy ourselves.

What is your favorite Halloween candy?

" don't want to buy too little candy (if a lot of kids show up,) or too much candy"

There can be such a thing as too much candy?

I used to buy "back up" candy in case we needed it. If you run out of candy, you can always give them money
Now that our daughter is old enough to go trick or treating, I don't buy candy because we're not home, anyway.
