Hey there!

Kazuko and I took a trip into The Twin Cities today. Per usual, we stopped at the Krispy Kreme on the way home. I had been looking forward to getting a cinnamon-covered apple jam-filled doughnut. Sadly, that particular doughnut wasn't in stock today. I hope that the apple cinnamon doughnut isn't just a seasonal thing. If it is, I will have to find an alternate favorite doughnut.

So I ended up getting three originals. I ate one of them in the store. I will probably have the other two tomorrow.

My dear readers: What kind of doughnut is your favorite? For me, I really like the apple cinnamon ones, and the original ones at Krispy Kreme.

Today is Saturday. We went to a few stores to buy some things for the guests who will be soon coming to our house. We bought some Japanese food for Kazuko's parents. We also bought a lamp and a garbage can for the second guest bedroom.

In addition to all of this, I got a pole to use to put Christmas lights on the big pine tree in my yard. It will be a real, big Christmas tree. Once I get the lights up (hopefully tomorrow,) I will post a photograph on this very site.

Before too long, Kazuko and I will have to think about getting a Christmas tree for the inside of our house. We have seen a few nice ones. I think that I am kind of leaning towards getting one that is about 4.5 feet tall (about 130 centimeters.)
