It is Friday again. I am surprised at how quickly this week passed. Now it is lunchtime, and I only have half-a-day left. Amazing!

Kazuko and I have some plans for the weekend. Tomorrow we will be in Roseville for our friend Julie's baby shower. Her baby will be coming in January (maybe December...) That means that her baby will be pretty close in age to our baby. Maybe they'll have something in common when they are able to talk.

Since we'll be in the Twin Cities area on Saturday, we will stop by Kim's Oriental Grocery to buy some Japanese food to give to Kazuko's parents when they come at the end of next week. That way, if Kazuko's mom wants to cook something while Kazuko is recovering from her cesarian section, she will have familiar ingredients.

It is always a nice trip to drive down to the Twin Cities. Maybe we will stop at Krispy Kreme on the way. Have you tried the apple and cinnamon jam-filled doughnuts there? I think that they are my favorite ones besides the originals.

Like my weblog entry said yesterday, my hedgehog Chippy died yesterday. He had cancer. He was almost three years old. Of my four hedgehogs, Chippy was the cuddliest and friendliest. He would like to rest on my stomach while I watched television. I will miss him. When I buy my next hedgehog, I hope that it will be just as friendly.

UPDATES: I got my sink running again. It just took some heat tape and an electric heater fan to get it going. I hope that my problem with that is solved for the year.

My light in the living room still needs to be fixed. Apparently it needs a new switch. I don't want to mess it up, so I will watch my dad put it in so that I can do it myself next time something like that happens. Unfortunately I need lots of help with things like that. I am not particularily handy. Regarding multiple intelligences: I suppose that I would not qualify as a "Spacial learning-style" type. I think I am more of an "Audio-lingual." Maybe there are some intrapersonal leanings too. (See, I took EdPsych!)

Alright friends. It is time for me to eat lunch. Today is chicken patty.
