As some of you know, I write frequent blog entries on the "American Idol" television program.  I recap shows, and give opinions of each program.  My "Idol" articles are among the most widely-read ones that I post.

In order to keep my forum discussion timely, I place a link to my latest article on each entry.  Regardless of that, I have recently found responses to my American Idol articles in all sorts of different articles.

I have found some replies to the current season of American Idol on some articles I wrote last year.  I have even found responses on entries in which I write about something else.  (I just found an Idol comment on an entry about a trip that my son and I took to Twinsfest at the Metrodome.)

I appreciate the interest and the comments, but it seems that people are commenting without even reading (even an itty-bitty part of) the article.  Even if readers had read the first five words, they would have found a link to the most current article at the top of the page.

Oh well, searching for buried comments does give me something to do in my free time.

If you want to save time searching for changed articles you can use the watchlist. Then the servers will send you an email when someone comments on your articles (at least when they are working, they have been known to take breaks from time to time). You can add an article to the watchlist by clicking the magnifying glass on the top right of the article. Hope that helps.
