Big news and other things.
Hi all!
I suppose that I should start with the biggest news of the day. Kazuko just scheduled her cesarian section. Our baby will be coming out in the morning on Wednesday, November 12. I am sure that the days leading up to that date will be long, especially for Kazuko because she is awfully excited! (Me too of course!)
I am home from work now. Today was full of meetings. In the morning we talked about reading, writing, and science in our school district. In the afternoon, I had a lovely time discussing with my lovely coworkers about what we plan to do with our ESL program. It seems as if big things may eventually happen which will be beneficial for both students and teachers.
It is snowing out here right now. The ground is all white. I heard on the radio that we may get 2 or 3 inches (5-8 cm) of snow by tomorrow. It is awfully pretty outside, but I will need to buy myself a shovel as soon as possible. (Meagan -my coworker- and I did get new car scrapers at Wal-Mart during our lunch break so that we could make it home safely. Our other co-worker Ngan was wise enough to bring one with her in her car today.) I wonder whether we'll be able to see the ground for the rest of the year?
Tonight's plans are not so big. We're going to watch last night's "The Practice" on video, we're going to watch "Joe Millionaire 2," and we're going to watch "The Matrix 2" on DVD in order to prepare for part three of the series which is coming out this week. It may be the last movie that we'll be able to see together in the theater for a year-or-so. I imagine that we'll have to see "The Last Samurai" (with Tom Cruise) in shifts once it is released in early-December.
Tonight it is pork chops for dinner. I must have been really good today!
Thanks for reading and come back again soon!
Remember that Kazuko and I both have our own websites:
you can access them both via: www.geocities.com/chipperprime/index.html
Bye for now!
