The first thing that struck me about tonight's show was "Hey! Bo found some conditioner."
But seriously... Tonight's show saw the elimination of the first of the final twelve. Not surprisingly, the bottom three contestants were all women. (As a group, the women are a lot weaker than the men this time out.)
Lindsey Cardinale was eventually eliminated, but the bottom three finishers were as such:
3) Jessica Sierra: The first contestant on each show has to deal with the short memory of the viewing audience, plus there are those who tune-in late as well. For a "first contestant" to be successful on any given night, he or she has to perform at least above-average. Jessica's performance last night was among the bottom-half of the contestants.
2) Mikalah Gordon: Was almost eliminated. Unless she changes something quick, she'll have to get used to standing for a lot of future shows.
(Is anyone out there thinking: "Oh great. More Mikalah..."?)
1) Lindsey Cardinale: Lindsey was eliminated. Her "Bye Bye song" was so much better than last night's performance. If she had done the song last night like she did it tonight, maybe we would be saying goodbye to someone else.
That's it for tonight. Visit me again this week when I issue a novel challenge to the college students of America (and other English-speaking countries).
