Scott's Going to Win It All!

Tonight's show was an interesting one.  Vonzell and Anthony, two of the best singers last night found themselves in the bottom-three.  Scott Savol, who should have been eliminated, made it into the top-three.

Ultimately, last night's poorest performer: Constantine Maroulis was sent home.  Seems like America finally saw through his thing.  All sizzle, and no steak.  (Paula didn't take it so well, did she?)

Now we've got to figure out what's up with Scott's fans...

All that I can say is "Wow".

I didn't think Constantine would win but I thought he would beat out Scott. Apparently, So did Paula and his mom!
Crazy....Show

till next week.

I didn't see the final results. Boy, looks like Scott's going to win this one just watch. How can this happen? Yikes! It's time he went home but I think his fans are definately proving a point! Thanks for the update Jamie.

This year we have Scott, last year we had John.

My wife and I were discussing about whether there were any "stinkers" like these guys in the first two seasons.

Season Two: Carmen? (I was voting for her however.)

Season One: I dodn't watch it, but I heard that someone stayed on for waaaaay to long.  (Even made it into the top-three.)

OK, this is TV, and what you see and hear is manipulated by the producers to generate interest...

Perhaps, and this is just a guess ( on the verge of a conspiracy theory )but what if Idol is tweeking the votes, basically pre-determining the outcome....

Food for thought, Scott has had all of the bad press, he's marketed to the "Joe Six pack", middle American. He's had the run in with the law and girl friend, he's racially ambiguous ( why the photo op with the racially mixed child )
He has adopted a quasi-hip hop persona ( fabricated down to the accent...Mom and Dad sure don't talk like 50 cent )

He is the perfect "Underdawg" ...granted he shouldn't be there, but he wasn't how many people would tune in to see if he is eliminated yet....

Did anyone else think that Pamela Anderson was slightly perturbed with Ryan? Especially the comment about the view.

I was a little surprised at that, but Ryan Seacrest (the 21st century Howard Cosell) has to be Ryan!

I have seen an episode of that "Stacked" show.  The characters seem to be pretty strong.  I doubt that it has a chance, but it could potentially be a "Cheers" type show.  I think that there is a problem with how that show is marketed as the "Pamela Anderson and everyone else" show.

I don't think Scott will win, but I did wonder if his fans will pull him through this week. I'll give him another 1 or two weeks allowing Anthony and Vonzell maybe to leave first.

Anthony doesn't really stand a chance and I think the Clay remark that stuck hurts him more than not.
Vonzell should really move off the diva status cause that usually hurts more than it helps. She sang the song great but it didn't have the Vonzell flavour cause it was basically an imitation, note by note.

It seems the judges all have their favourites. Simon likes Carrie, Paula likes Constantine and I think Randy goes for Bo. I think it's always hard to see your favourites go though, although I think Paula likes to watch Constantine than hear him sing.

Constantine wasn't brilliant but I love Nickleback so I overlooked it. Bo rocked.

The Celine (Anthony) and the Luther Vandross (Scott) really didn't do it for me. actually I wasn't really fussed on Vonzell's Christina either.

It hasn't happened yet (ad break) but I'll be really disappointed to see Constantine go.

I think it will always be a shock even though Constantine seems to hide it very well. He hadn't been in the bottom three at all, and it looked like he expected to stay when he was asked to choose a group. It is very harsh considering this is the first time he gets in the bottom three, just to be booted out.

Carrie is the only one left who hasn't been in the bottom three must as this shows, everything can change!
