I wrote an earlier article about the Corey Clark interview.  The crux of my article was that although the interview was entertaining, the claims really didn't amount to much.

Just now I was reading some critical analysis of the interview.  In the article, "Idol special offered
a lot of nothing"
(from MSNBC.com), I found the following quote:

Asked to describe the most salacious part of his claims, his physical relationship with Abdul, Clark said, gIt was dope, I was like, wow. ... She came up behind me and she just started kissing my neck, and, you know, thatfs the first night that we had ever been together, you know what Ifm saying?h

Actually, no, we donft. But at least if the singing thing falls through, Clark can always turn to writing romance novels, because he sure can craft a captivating, erotic tale.

That got me to laugh.

. I love when MSNBC gets snarky.

I think Paula Abdul should resign, though. Not only because of Clark but due to her loony behavior.I'm more fascinated about the story behind that. Personally, I don't believe the neurological disorder. It's like Ashlee Simpson's acid reflux. I think it's going to make a dink in AI's credibility. In between the the vote-over and this, I think it's the beginning of the end of AI. They can only do damage control for so long before some actual truth does slip out.

I don't believe it went as far as Clark said. Abdul has indicated in the past she's talked to contestants. And here's the but...it does bring up the question of the interaction actually entails. Has she ever favored one contestant over the other, therefore giving them better "advice" (re: cheating.)
