Hello there! I hope that you are all having a happy day out there.
I am doing well. I finished another day at work. I only have three workdays left until I can meet our son. That will be exciting! It is hard to concentrate on anything else. I am really looking forward to all of that stuff.
This morning I woke up to two surprises associated with owning an old house. My first surprise was that my kitchen sink wasn't working. Apparently the pipe that leads to the kitchen sink froze during the night. I bought a small heater to warm up the pipe, and some heating tape and insulation to keep it thawed once it is warm.
My second "surprise" was that the ceiling lamp in my living room isn't working. I think that the wiring is bad. It is a mystery to me how it just "went bad" all of a sudden. Unfortunately, that isn't something that I can fix myself. I will have to ask my dad for help with that one.
Regardless of all of these little "surprises" I still really like living in my house. It is really comfortable for me. I feel "at home" there. I think that my wife likes it too. It seemed very "homey" from the first time that we saw it.
So here's my schedule for the day. After I get home I will work on getting the water flowing to the kitchen, and then I will relax and enjoy some TV. I always look forward to watching ER on Thursdays.
Speaking of ER, it seems that Kazuko has become hooked on the daytime episodes of that show. She has been watching it every day since she has been on maternity leave. That is a good entertaining show to get hooked-on.
Alright everybody, have a happy day!
See you!
Jamie
