American Idol 4 Results Show: May 18, 2005

Tonight's show featured the returns home of the three contestants. Vonzell went to Florida, Bo to Alabama, and Carrie to Oklahoma. After one song apiece, the results were read. Bo Bice and Carrie Underwood will appear in the finals, while Vonzell Solomon was eliminated.

Vonzell's elimination wasn't exactly surprising, but it was sad to see her go. She was one of my favorites from the audition round. (In fact, I was high on her, Constantine, and Anthony from the beginning. Vonzell was the only one of those three who didn't disappoint.)

Next week's finals between Bo and Carrie will give us another winner from the South. Ruben (AL), Fantasia (NC), and Kelly (TX), will be joined by Bo (AL), or Carrie (OK). I wonder what it is with singers from above the Mason-Dixon line. Why nobody from up here?... (I suppose that Jamie from Minnesota -not me- "won" WB Superstar.)

You know these three were really the top contenders and deserve to be because they are all so good! I;m going to miss Vonzell and was sorry to see her eliminated.

Now I'm joing the chant....Go Bo Go...gobogobo!

Well Jamie, the season is winding down and I want to say thanks for making it fun. I don't know what was more fun watching it or reading your reviews. I think, for me, this year, it was the reviews.

So, now...I will chant along with foreverserenity...Go Bo

I just think it's sad that Vonzell, and also Carrie, knows that they didn't have much of a chance to win. It's so obvious that Bo will win the competition judging by people's reaction (and also the judges reactions) that all they can do is have fun. I do wonder how far Mario would have gotten though and whether he would have become boring during the middle.

Male vocalist is not my thing so I won't be getting Bo's album, but I can see his style and must say he does deserve to win.
