Hello there my friends. How are all of you today?

I hope that everything is going well. I am writing this from my work. My kindergarteners have gone back to class, and I am about to get ready to go to one of my other schools.

In two of the buildings where I work, my classroom is in an interior room. (Only one of my classrooms has a window with a view.) As I was teaching this afternoon, I heard voices from the other room talking about freezing rain. Apparently it started raining outside a little while ago. I hear that we're going to be having a rain/ sleet/ snow storm here over night. I hope that driving won't be too bad. (At least until after I get home.)

Those ice storms are worse than any snowstorms that we ever have. They're more dangerous, and there is more likelihood that the power will go out.

Now I will venture out into the weather as I travel to my other school. Thank you for spending a few minutes of "sane" time with me. I may have more of a "weather report" later on, depending on how interesting it gets here.
