Since October 28, 2003 a lot of things have happened. My wife and I have settled into our new house, we have had a baby, and we are waiting for a second baby. I have started and continued working as a teacher, while my wife has worked with computers and in a coffee shop.
I got a car, I have raised two nice gardens, I have covered three seasons of "American Idol" on my weblog (as well as "WB Superstar"). -My articles about TV shows seem to be my biggest "draws". (I suppose my election-based articles were good draws as well.)
Two pets have died, one has been replaced.
Friends have had children of their own (Andy, Kayo, Nancy, Yoshiko, Jeff, and Larry.) I am not sure whether I mentioned or wrote about all of them (my cousin -who has a weblog on JU- had a baby recently as well...)
In retrospect, a lot has happened in the (nearly) two years since I started this weblog.
This evening, I spent over an hour going over my articles. (I tired out around July, 2004). It brought back a lot of good memories. I found a few "food-for-thought" articles that I posted which didn't receive much discussion; but on the other hand, a lot of non-contraversial articles garnered more-than-expected comments.
My first article landed me in Joe User's "Top Ten". Since then, my highest rank had been number 2, but I have recently found myself dwelling outside of the top-ten. That's okay. I am still enjoying myself here.
There have been times when I have considered moving away from a less politically-minded group of bloggers; but in the end, I appreciate the readership that JoeUser brings to my blog. I assume that article #501 will be about my upcoming garage sale. Enjoy...
