Teachers in my district have to report back on Thursday. Goodbye summer vacation! I have finished a lot around the house. (Everything except my wife's bookshelf and our screen door. I can do those quickly, even though they may be a little late.)
To prepare myself for the next school year, I bought a few new items of clothes. I bought a pair of shoes, jeans, three shirts, and two t-shirts.
Here are the shirts. My wife and I had a bit of a disagreement over the middle shirt. It may be at the "edge" of my style, but I liked it enough to buy it.
One of the t-shirts has a quote from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". I couldn't resist.
Jeans and shoes. My last pair of shoes made it through a year and a half.
I had a thought while shopping at KOHL's. The prices on the clothes are never what they're rung up as. The tags are always higher than the actual price. I'd assume that that encourages people to buy more, feeling that they're always spending less than they had intended, but still buying more than they should.
That said: I got an awful lot of clothes for $43.
