During the week, my wife and I have three "appointments" with the television.  We always make sure to catch first-run episodes of "Boston Legal", "ER", and "Desperate Housewives."

Since we have a DVR device, we don't necessarily watch each of the above shows on the date of broadcast, but we do keep relatively current on those shows.  The exception to that (among the three) is Housewives, which we make sure to watch before retiring on a Sunday night.

The "A-storyline" in the first season dealt with a mysterious suicide.  When that storyline was finished, the series sputtered a bit before finally churning out another top storyline to keep it's edge.  Now, (just in time for November sweeps) "Desperate Housewives" has another hot storyline.

The storyline which I am referring to is Bree's relationship with the crazy pharmacist George.  (George -if you remember- started out really sweet, then gradually poisoned Bree's husband, began acting creepier and creepier, assaulted Bree's psychologist, and now stole and set fire to a car belonging to one of Bree's ex-boyfriends.)  Bree is finally catching-on to how crazy her new boyfriend is.

I hope that they figure out a way to extend this storyline past the sweeps period.  I really like having a crazy, scheming guy as a villian.  (Reminds me of Windham Earl from the second season of "Twin Peaks.")  You go George Williams!
