Hello there friends. I hope that you're having a good day.
I am doing fine. I do however seem to have a bit of a cold. I hope that it gets better before it gets worse.
After a long day of Parent-Teacher Conferences, I came home to a nice dinner and a videotaped American Idol Results Show. It was nice to watch a results show on video because we didn't have to suffer through the commercial-break cliffhangers.
As my wife and I predicted, Jasmine from Hawaii made it to the next round. Surprisingly to me, John Stevens won the evening's vote. I didn't think that his song last night was very good; but like I said on yesterday's blog, people have preferences from the audition shows. I wonder whether John will be able to successfully do a Stevie Wonder song.
My wife voted for John Stevens, so he must have done something right. I voted for Jasmine and Suzy. (Looks like we each got one in.)
Next week's twelve-member wild card show will be really good. There will be an interesting group of singers on the show. Out of the wild-card singers, I am rooting for Suzy Vulaca, Elizabeth Letendre, and Katie Webber. (Leah Labelle will be okay too.)
Now I have to do my best to rest-up for an even busier day tomorrow. I have a twelve-hour marathon of what will be nearly wall-to-wall parents.
