My wife and I needed to return a video to the Japanese video store in Minneapolis.  Since we were in town, we took advantage of it and had dinner at one of my old haunts in Saint Paul.  We ate at "Porkys", a 1950s/60s style drive-in.

In my opinion, the best thing on the menu at Porky's is the fried fish sandwich.  (It is probably the best fried fish sandwich that I know of.)  My wife and I had that, while our older son had the children's chicken leg set.  (He ate that thing down to the bone! My wife joked that we could see white on the bone. ...we got some tattoos with the kids' set.  I forgot to put them on the kid after his bath.  Maybe tomorrow...)

So if you're ever on the 1900 block of University Avenue in Saint Paul, Minnesota, let me recommend the fish sandwich.  It is awfully good.

Awwwwwwww
that makes me soooooooo homesick...

My boyfriend and I used to go there on the weekends in his all Ford 23 T-bucket...

we'd get a burger and onion rings, and they would put a chocolate chip cookie on top of the
onion rings, on the outside of the pkg.

I liked their chili too........
