About six weeks ago, the Michael Jackson trial was pretty big news. I think that he was worth at least one segment every half-hour on most of the national news providers.

Then Janet Jackson shows her boob on national television, Martha Stewart has her trial, Howard Stern gets censored, Mel Gibson releases the Jesus flick, and the Academy Awards came and went. With all of those other "distractions" it seems that Michael Jackson has fallen off of the radar.

I wonder how long it will be for that story to gain prominence again. Personally, I don't think that he did anything sexual with those kids. He was doing something however that could be more-than-easily misunderstood. He would have been better-off not having sleep over parties with young boys, regardless of what they did during those parties. So if he is ever convicted of anything I don't think that it would be an "outrage," but I am still skeptical as to whether he broke the law.

On a side note: I don't really know that much about the Martha Stewart business, but I'd bet that there are "bigger fish to fry" in this whole affair. (I heard that Martha was only involved with $20,000 in this whole business?) I wonder if this is an example of a prosecuting attorney trying to see his name in print rather than a search for justice.

Do me a favor.  Hop on google and search for:
Michael Jackson Rubba
See what you find.

Someone told me that Janet Jackson did that boob thing to get people off Michael's back. If she did, then it worked.
I'm really starting to doubt his innocence though.

Those "Rubba" articles (suggested above by Jeremy G) are compelling.

I am sure that Michael Jackson will have no problem getting himself declared "insane" if he ever decides to go that route.

To be his counselor would entail a lot of job security, wouldn't it?
