So I am at home, helping my younger son stay sleeping.  I am watching a show called "Rock Fest" on the VH1 Classics channel.

The show starts with videos by: Queen, Alice Cooper, and Ozzy Osbourne.  (followed by Ted Nugent and ZZ Top...)

The seventeen-year-old within me is super-excited about this trifecta (without commercial interruption.)  But there I sit with a baby, enjoying what I would have REALLY liked fifteen years ago.  (Except then they wouldn't play those three guys in a row with few commercials.)

2006 is a good year.

Left to my own devices I don't really watch music videos, but since my husband is home, we usually watch them in the morning when he's getting ready for work.

I like Queen, but I'm not a big fan of Ozzy or Alice Cooper.

My Chemical Romance has some good videos (I'm Not Okay and The Ghost of You) and Fallout Boy (Dance, Dance) and System of a Down (ok, so their videos aren't great, but their music is *really* good).

Music videos can be pretty fun (or nostalgic).

Congrats on the new baby. I enjoy reading about your family and seeing photos.

Do you ever listen to ALice Cooper's readio program? I really like it! Hearing his voice reminds me of that scene after his concert in WAyne's world.

Interesting. I have never heard it advertised. It mustn't be broadcast in this market. I'll have to see if it is online.
