Yesterday my wife and I found a new thing at the Asian grocery store.  Instead of the usual frozen sanma (pike mackeral), they had some fresh.  Yay!  That's one of my favorite fish (served grilled with shredded daikon and soy sauce on the side.)

My wife cooked up a good sanma dinner tonight.

Looks like a very healthy dinner. I would have to remove the face before serving it to anyone in my family

How do you eat that? Do you eat the whole fish head and all or just certian peices?

Sanma is yummy and delicious! I'm glad you could get it fresh.

I like it, too, but I don't like it as much when it is cooked with the tummy still inside... too bitter.

Ohh that was my favorite!
Fresh was the best.

It is so good for you too.
Goos for you on finding fresh.
By the way not sure if you know but grate some fresh Daikon (White radish) and use that to compliment the hot fish and soy sauce.
