A few years ago, my wife and I watched "Kill Bill" in a movie theater.  I remember being essentially entertained my the movie, but I also remember feeling unsettled by the whole experience.  After seeing the first movie, I figured that I "might as well" see "volume 2", but there wasn't much urgency.

I found "Volume 2" on TV the other day, and I recorded it.  (We watched it last night after the kids were sleeping.)  I really liked "Volume 2".  It was interesting, exciting, and scary.  (Mamba's demise and the claustrophobic casket scene had me on pins-and-needles, but they somehow weren't as unsettling as events in "volume 1".)

I think that -in retrospect- both movies are pretty strong.  The second installment helped make the first one more interesting.  I suppose that I will watch both of them together some time in the future.

Jamie I just did the same thing on Saturday! I had seen Volume 1 and loved it. I honestly thought that I had seen V 2 but then I got a hold of it again and sat and watched both 1 and 2 together. V2 does give more explanations and wraps the whole thing up. I enjoyed it too. It was worth the wait!
