Well, I figured out the names of the ladies who I was referring to in the previous message. Cat from Germany Kateryna from the Czech Republic (I forgot the Italian lady's name, but YOU know who it is!) We had our last baby class tonight. Now all we have to do is wait for the baby to come out. How exciting! See ya!

Last weekend was a busy one for me. I tried to get as much work done around the house as possible. I didn't get around to raking leaves, but I was able to carpet some stairs and assemble a rocking chair for the baby. I tried to install a new ceiling light in the guest room, but previous residents of my house had installed the old light in a way that doesn't make changing it an easy job. In between all of that work, Kazuko and I were able to watch "Bend it like Beckham." I had wanted t...

Tonight, Kazuko and I watched the movie "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." Surprisingly, that was the first time that I have seen that movie. I was really pleased with that one. I like Richard Dreyfuss. Besides "What About Bob," "Close Encounters" may be my favorite movie that he's in. I was never able to catch that CBS show he was in last year. That may be a blessing in disguise since it was cancelled rather quickly. This will have made two nights in a row that my wife and I have ...

Well, it is Sunday night. Back to work tomorrow... I had a happy weekend. Kazuko and I did some shopping, we watched some television, and we visited two craft sales. The second craft sale that we visited was at the Monticello Community Center. The community center is just a few blocks away from our house. Kazuko and I were really surprised at how nice the facilities are there. There is a really nice pool, a tall climbing wall, an indoor playground, a skate park, a gymnasium and weight...

Well, Kazuko and I just watched Joe Millionaire. We went out to dinner at Bonanza during the show, and we watched it on tape. (The show is a lot more enjoyable if you can fast-forward through the commercials!) The show ended with a cliffhanger. Who will be coming back next week? Let the speculation begin. I am becoming a Petra fan now. I think that she seems like an interesting lady. Have a happy evening!

Last night Kenny, Kazuko and I enjoyed watching "Joe Millionaire." (Well, Kenny was there, but he wasn't really paying attention to the show.) I am really going to miss that show when it is over. I suppose that I will just have to look forward to watching "American Idol" next. "Joe Millionaire" is really turning into a weekly emotional roller-coaster. There is a lot of tension and suspense built into that show. Assuming that what is going on is real: I imagine that it is difficult for Da...

Hey friends! Tonight is the Joe Millionaire finale. Yay! Is it going to be Linda? Is it going to be Cat? I have no idea... Frankly, I am sad to see Petra gone because she was my favorite. If they have a special twist to the ending, I hope that it involves Petra somehow. She seemed to be the only one who cared about David more than the alleged money. Fortunately, I will be able to watch that show tonight. Parent-teacher conferences are running today from one to nine. Luckily enough...

Recently I have been in the mood to watch situation comedies on television. It is surprising what good shows one can encounter if he or she is inclined to strategially channel-switch. If I play my cards right, I can watch 2 hours of "Seinfeld" (or 3 on a Wednesday!) an hour of "Cheers," and an episode each of "The Simpsons," and "Frasier." I am sure that I will get tired of watching those shows so often, but they are good for now. (I could watch more Cheers if Nick at Night didn't get rid ...

As I had written in my last blog entry, I watched the film: "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels" on IFC. Tonight, BBC America is showing "The Meaning of Life." -Even though I have seen that movie about fifty times (maybe more,) I still am watching it on TV. (By the way, read my last entry if you're interested in comparing Tarantino's gangster movies to Guy Ritchie's gangster movies.) Having movies on is good. There isn't much else on, is there? Actually, it has been so long since the...

Hey there! Well it is Sunday night. Another weekend flew by. It was fun though. I enjoyed shopping on Saturday and relaxing at home on Sunday. (The Vikings won. That was good...) One thing that I saw on television this weekend was "Spice World," the Spice Girls' movie. It was playing on Saturday morning on the USA network. I ended up watching the last 45 minutes of the movie. After watching the movie, I am now able to distinguish between the individual members of the group by name....

Hello there. I hope that you're having a happy Sunday. I just finished watching a couple of hours of "I Love the '80s Strikes Back" on VH1. I usually enjoy watching that series, along with the "I Love the '70s" shows. One thing does bug me however. There is this guy on the show named Michael Ian Black. Apparently this guy stars on some show named "Ed." Now I haven't ever seen "Ed," and I have never heard of this guy outside of the "I love the..." series. The irritating thing abou...

Hey there friends. I hope that you're having a nice Saturday. I just woke up. I had a bowl of cereal. Kazuko is watching an adoption show while Kenny is sleeping. How cute. Once Kenny wakes up, I think that I will take some pictures of him to put in this weblog (his clothes are pretty cute today!) Last night, there wasn't much on television (typical Friday.) Flipping around the channels, I found "Happy Gilmore" on the USA network. Even though I have seen this movie a bunch of times,...

Hi there again! Over the past two-to-three months, I had been making a habit of watching "So Graham Norton" on BBC America nightly from 10:00-11:00 PM. Beginning last Monday however, the show was removed from the daily lineup. Looking at the BBC America website, I learned that it won't be coming back any time soon. The good news is that we will be able to see the show on Comedy Central beginning some time next year. I am wondering whether that will be a mixed blessing. If they are goin...

Well, Joe Millionaire is over. David ended up choosing Linda. Linda received a big cash prize, and David received what seems to be a pretty nice ranch. I hope that they're happy... I wonder if there will be any deep philospohical discussions in front of the fireplace... Watching the show, I was surprised that Cat didn't win. She really seemed to connect with David on camera. She'll be okay though. She's young. Since she's famous in America, (assuming that she can sing) maybe she shoul...

Before I start on tonight’s show:  I just want to add that I have just recently purchased Blake Lewis’ album.  I think that after a couple of listens, I’d recommend it to those of you who are in the market for something interesting. Throw Morrisey, Jamiroquai, Justin Timberlake, and Prince into a blender, and you’ll probably end up with something like Blake. Final analysis: a couple of pretty catchy songs, nothing terribly lame.  My biggest criticism...
